The kingdom of Evergold has spent centuries battling Shadowvale, a nation of dark creatures hell-bent on world domination. News reaches the King of a magical artifact hidden in the Mystery Islands, a place populated only by criminals and sinners, so powerful that it would allow Evergold to finally rid the continent of all evil.

None of the holy knights and heroes the king sent ever returned, so the court wizard hatches a desperate plan: send a band of misfits to blend in with the locals and steal the artifact! Nothing could possibly go wrong!… Could it?
