Tropical mysteries, quirky minds.
A humoristic point-and-click adventure with hand-drawn 2D art, comedy, and investigation. As Tango Rio, explore a tropical archipelago, meet quirky characters, and gather clues by solving puzzles in the search for your mysteriously vanished father.
Tango Rio hasn’t seen his father in two years—not since he left with his uncle on “a journey that would change the world.” Or so he claimed. Then, silence.
The only clue: the name of a Polynesian archipelago… and the feeling that this time, the escape is different.
What awaits him? Tropical legends, strange rituals, time travel, dark prophecies, and a bunch of totally crazy characters.
Caught between wild puzzles and even wilder situations, Tango is about to dive into an adventure way beyond anything he ever expected.

Built from Fog, Films, and Faraway Islands
The developers of The Adventures of Tango Rio started this adventure in 2020, during lockdown, in a small Tuscan hill town — while replaying Monkey Island (again).
When morning fog turned hills into islands, an entire archipelago was born. They built this world by hand, scene by scene, inspired by Pitcairn Island, the Tuamotu Archipelago, and Rapa Nui — despite never setting foot on a tropical island. Along the way, they relied heavily on classic adventure films, the dusty charm of Sergio Leone, the sunny chaos of Bud Spencer & Terence Hill, and the anthropological curiosity of Folco Quilici. They may have never been to the Pacific — but they’ve watched enough movies to get lost there.
